Why golf is one of my favorite sport.
When I lived in ireland I used to go to the driving range a lot to try and get better at a sport that nearly everyone in Ireland plays. One day I went to the driving range with my dad and he said to me I am going to get you lessons. The next week we went back to the driving range I was going to get lessons. After the lessons my dad was talking to the person who was teaching me and he said to my dad” I think he could be good enough to be come professional if he keeps up his practice and is playing a lot of golf.” So on the way home dad told me the news and I was very happy to hear a person that is good a golf tell me I could be good enough to become a professional. So I kept going out playing golf and practicing as hard as I could to try and follow my dream.
I was enjoying be a member of the golf course and going out playing golf in my spare time. But then we moved to Australia. I was very disappointed because I couldn’t follow my dream anymore because I was moving to a new country. When we moved to australia I hadn’t played golf in about six months. So one day me and my dad went to the driving range. On the way to the driving range I was saying to myself” I hope I haven’t lost my technique”.I took my clubs out of the car and I walked up to the pro shop and asked the person behind the counter,can I please have a small bucket of driving range balls. I payed for it and went onto the driving range I took the first ball out of the bucket,put the ball on the tee and I missed the ball. I had lost my technique completely. After the driving range my dad asked was there lessons on for kids. I went to lessons on a Saturday morning at six to eight in the morning. After getting back into golf we had completions on a Sunday morning. I used to win the completion all the time.
On one saturday morning the coach told us who every wins the completion gets there name put into a hat to go and represent western australia in golf at the PGA tour over in Queensland. I won the tournament and my name was put into a hat.
I thought I would never heard of that again because what is the odds of going to Queensland and represent western Australia in golf. One day I was leaving school and my mum told me I had be chosen to represent western australia in gold.i went to Queensland and came in the top ten out of thirty. Queensland was an experience of a life time because I was though by some professional and went over to Queensland to play golf for Queensland.

The wonderful world sport which is football.
Football is one of the most popular sports in the world. A worldwide survey launched by FIFA in the summer of 2000 and published in the spring of 2001 indicates that over two hundred and forty million people regularly play football around the world. This result has probably doubled in last eleven years. When I was growing up in Ireland all the people in school always used to play football. We used to play it every lunch and recess and we would have training after school. I never played football out of school because I was always saying to my self that I was no good and would not be able to play.
When I came to Australia I wanted to play football because I thought that no one over in Australia would be good and I thought I would be one of the best in the team. So one day after school I asked my mum could I start to play football because that day in school I did something really good and I thought I would be good enough to play in a team. So when I got to the pork Kennedy home ground my mum went up to one of the coaches and asked do you have any spare spots for my son. He said let him train with us and we will see how he gets on. So the training was all good and after training the coach told me he would like to see me back at training next week. I came back the next week and he told me that he is short players for the game on Sunday so he asked me would I like to play. Of course I said yes because I would be playing my very first game of football. I played well that Sunday and I ended up staying in port Kennedy for two years. They where not very good years because we got beat every game so I gave up and moved to rocking ham football club.
When I went to Rockingham we won the league the first season there which was so good. I have played four seasons at Rockingham in those four years I have score around eighty goals and won the league twice in them four years at Rockingham. Last year we made the final and were versing Warnbro strikers. It was a very close game but in the first ten minutes my friend lee got us a penalty and I had to step up to the spot and score. I went up and put the ball on the spot and walked back five steps. The whistle went I ran up to the ball and slotted the ball bottom corner of net so the goalkeeper could not reach it. For the rest of the game there was no goals scored so we won the final against or biggest rivals.
Football is my favorite sport in the world and I love playing football for rocking ham football club.
Why I love Manchester united so much
I was born a Manchester united fan is because my dad and uncle are very big fans of one of the best teams in the world. My dad tells me lots of stories about Manchester united like one of the best players to play for man u scored in the FA cup final against Liverpool on the day I was born. Because Eric Cantana scored on the day I was born my dad was going to call me Eric What my mum tells me all the time is when I was born the first thing that my uncle gave me was a Manchester united teddy bear. I didn’t really know about manchester united until I was around seven.When I started to watch them play on tv I said to myself one day I hope I get too see them play in old Trafford which is there home stadium. Then about a years later it was my birthday and I got nothing from my mum and dad but my dad said we were going to England for a short holiday. I was only about ten years old then and I didn’t know where Manchester united home stadium was.
So when we arrived in England we checked into our hotel and then my dad told me to put my Manchester united jersey on. So i put my one on and my dad put his on and we got a taxi to old Trafford but i didn’t know that we where we where going. So when I got out of the car I turned around and there it was old Trafford the home of Manchester united. I could no explain how I felt because I had no idea we where going there. So I asked my dad are we going In and the words I can remember him saying was happy birthday and handed me a ticket to enter the stadium
After the game my life had changed because I had never felt so happy in my life. That day manchester united had won 2-0 against blackburn. My favorite player wayne Rooney scored the two goals that made manchester united bet blackburn 2-0. Rooney is probably my favorite player because I play the same position and some people call me Rooney. I hope some day soon I go back to watch one of the best teams in the world Manchester united play at old Trafford and hopefully win again.

Living in Australia is like a holiday
When my family came to Australia we were kinda nervous because we didn’t really know anyone. We knew a couple of people from the last time we lived over here which had been ten years ago. We decided to come back because my mum and dad were let go from work which meant they had no jobs. I was born over here in Australia and when I turned three we went back to Ireland for ten years and then came back again. This time we came over is a lot better because we know a lot more people.
Since we have came over we have both two different houses, two cars, Boat and more. Or first house we bought was in port Kennedy and then we sold that house and built a house In secret harbor.
I went to St.Bernadette’s in year five and now I go to kolbe catholic collage. I enjoyed going to St.Bernadette’s because that is where I met my first friends in Australia. St.Bernadette’s was full of good memory’s but the one that I can remember the best was the year seven camp. We did a lot of fun activities on the camp but the best one was the mud fight on the first day. I enjoy going to kolbe because I is a good school and I have got a lot of friends. My best memory from kolbe would have to be marine studies. That was the funniest subject I have ever done because we did a lot of fun activities.
I have done a lot of good things over here in Australia. One of my Favorite memory’s is that I went to Queensland to represent western Australia in golf. I had won a competition in secret harbor to be able to go to Queensland.The day I came to Australia I thought it would be terrible but I have realized that is like being on a holiday ever day of the year.
Living in the Republic of Ireland
When I lived in Ireland it was some of the best years of my life. Most people would say Ireland is really bad because it is always cold and nearly raining every day. When u live in Ireland for ten years u don’t really notice anymore. I loved Ireland because my whole family and background are Irish. In Ireland I played a lot of sports such as the Irish games, Gallic Football and hurling. Hurling and Gallic football are the national sports of ireland and I played both of the sports. I also played a lot of golf and tennis in Ireland with my friends from school. My friends where cousins and they lived right next too each other so anything I went to one of there houses we would go to the other as well. One of my friends was state tennis player and the other was very good at golf.
Ireland was a country that had no money because all of the people from Poland came over and worked in Ireland and didn’t spend the money in Ireland they just sent the money back to Poland so Ireland would go into poverty. This was the reason my why I came over to Australia. We had no other chose but to move to australia because my mum and dad where let go from work and we didn’t have much money to survive on. So we sold or house in Ireland and came to australia.
I really kind of miss Ireland in some ways such as the food is better and the shops are a lot cheaper. But we go back to Ireland nearly every second year to meet our family in Ireland. I don’t really like going back because I don’t really do much back there only like go to the shops and watch tv. But my favorite thing I miss about ireland is the snow. The snow is the funniest things you can every play with. We used to play snow ball wars in the park in the town and we used to make stuff out of the snow. I would go back to Ireland on a holiday but I wouldn’t liv there anymore.
